OUR STORY

Born from a dream. Called into being by nature.

OOTO began in 2023 as a feeling — a quiet, insistent call to stop observing the world and and become part of it again. We are a community of conscious travelers and guardians of life, designing experiences that don’t just take you somewhere new. They return you to yourself.

OUR HOSTS

Every OOTO expedition is held by a team whose combined knowledge spans transformational coaching, somatic healing, indigenous wisdom, and over three decades of walking alongside ancestral communities. You are not left to find your own way. You are accompanied — before, during, and after.

Our ancestral partners

The Arhuaco People —Guardians of the Heart of the World

Descendants of the ancient Tayrona, the Arhuaco have stood as faithful custodians of the sacred lands of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta since time immemorial. Sheltered by their protective mountains, they have kept alive their culture, their ancestral wisdom, and their profound communion with nature — not as a tradition to be preserved, but as a living practice essential to the balance of our world.

At the heart of Arhuaco society are the Mamos — spiritual guides, healers, wise counselors, and traditional authorities. They speak nature’s ancient tongue. They bridge the visible and invisible worlds. And they carry the sacred responsibility of maintaining harmony on Earth. Our relationship with the Arhuaco communities spans more than 15 years. Every OOTO project is co-created with them — consulted with traditional authorities, spiritually guided, and approved by the community. We do not extract their wisdom. We are in living relationship with it.
